The Brief 

These customers had a brand-new home built for them and needed a staircase to be made and fitted that really packed the WOW factor, whilst also fitting in with the style of the home. That’s where we come in!

We initially had several meetings at the construction site and at our offices with the customers, to be able to pin down the design and layout they wanted to achieve.

Action taken

The staircase was made and assembled at our workshops for several reasons. We can check over everything and make sure it all goes together okay, ultimately reducing time on site. It is also a perfect time for the customers to be invited over to our workshops to check it all over and discuss any final details and specifications.

Outcome

The finished staircase and landing looked lovely. The large entrance hall meant this staircase could really spread out, enabling us to build in big, wide treads and small rises, making for an easy and comfortable staircase to use.

The space left under the staircase can be used to either design some built-in storage or to place some freestanding items of furniture.
