The Brief

This was to become a very large joinery project for us, and it all started with an email from our good friends at Grey Tree Construction. We were asked to quote for the entire property’s bespoke joinery, to include:

Front Door
Staircase
Boot Room
Pantry
Study
TV Room
Bathroom Vanity Units
Bedroom Wardrobes

We set about accurately pricing all the items required and waited to hear if we had secured the work or not. We were thrilled when we were selected to undertake all the joinery work; not only was it some amazing and exciting work to be involved with, but dealing with Mr Cal Leach, owner of Grey Tree Construction, has always been a pleasure and very straightforward.

Action taken

Each joinery item on the list was carefully measured, planned and created templates for before we started any construction at our workshop. Once items were made and dry-assembled, we then flat packed it all and headed to the site to begin installation. We worked closely with Grey Tree Construction to ensure we made and installed all the joinery items to coordinate with other trades on site, ensuring we didn’t hold anyone up or slow the project down.

Outcome

The finished project came together superbly. We met all the deadlines set out and kept in touch with all subcontractors to make sure the installation was seamless. The finished joinery and photographs speak for themselves, and the clients were over the moon with their extensive renovation. We are now discussing further work in the future!
