Bespoke Front Door and Doorframe
The West Sussex based customers wanted a bespoke, solid oak front door to match their newly renovated home.
The Brief:
We were contacted by a customer, through our website, who was after a bespoke front door and door frame constructed from solid oak and fitted at their newly refurbished home, located in West Sussex.
Action taken:
The customer knew exactly what they wanted, with a picture for reference, which made the initial design stage nice and straightforward. Due to their house having just recently been renovated, the customer had a lovely oak porch that had just been finished. Oak was the chosen material to construct the bespoke front door and its frame out of, as this would match the surroundings on the porch.
Outcome:
The finished door looks nice and homely, giving that nice solid and sturdy feel a handmade hardwood door should. It was the first job that JLA Joinery did for the customer, but it seems it won’t be the last. We are currently in the design process of a set of solid oak gates to finish off the driveway at the front of the property.

I was impressed with their professional approach, the understanding of my requirements and the excellent quality of their work. I have now asked them to make by oak front gates as their capabilities cater for any type of joinery work.
