Frame, ledged and braced
Made from pine and triple coated with a protective finish, they make the garage good as new.
The Brief:
We were initially emailed by a customer that wanted some replacement doors for their Garage. The existing ones, after many years of use, had finally given up and rotted through so we were asked to quote to make and fit some new ones.
Action taken:
Once the quote had been accepted we made a site visit which was easy as it was exactly one mile from our workshops in the village of Sidlesham, Chichester. Once we had our measurements for the existing frame/opening it was back to the workshop to get the new doors underway.
Outcome:
The doors are a simple design we call “framed, ledged and braced”. They were made completely from pine, to save on cost, but given several coats of hard wearing external protective finish to not only tie in with the existing colour of the Garage but to give them plenty of protection for the years to come.
