The Brief
Doors and windows are often the final piece of the puzzle when it comes to an extension or refurbishment and more often than not they are needed in a hurry to ensure security on the property.
For this job we were needed to make and fit a new door with opening sidelights and windows for a small extension in Emsworth, Hampshire.
Action Taken
As always, the first step in this process was to take careful measurements – we also had a discussion with the bricklayer to ensure the measurements were as exact as possible due to them having to be taken halfway through the completion of the extension.
Outcome
Once the measurements were taken and finalised, we agreed on a style with the clients which was the easiest part of the process as they had decided to match them to the doors and windows already found within the property.
After we had left the site and installed the windows, we then arranged for a decorator to go in as soon as possible and apply the protective coats, ensuring the bespoke windows and doors can withstand all of the British weather conditions!
